Job Details:

Responsibilities:

- Leading the design part of the customer projects including project technical direction, system layout, 3D models, 2D drawings review, GD&T and tolerance and assembly manual, etc.
- Leading the design issues troubleshooting and route case finding use 8D or other method.
- Leading the decision make in important customer meeting.
- Leading the benchmark study for engine systems.
- Work with the international team on site if required
- Align and provide customer specific technical documentations
- Support the customer on site for the projects if required
- Support the validation test for the components and systems of the engine
- Support project management
- Other tasks required

Qualifications:

- 15-25 years’ experience in diesel engine designing.
- Leaded at least 3 new engine design projects (from concept to 2D drawing release or 3D release) as Chief design engineer.
- Wide design experience on main engine systems, can guide the young designers in any system
- Well know the advanced engine technology.
- Good at making decision matrix during the design project.
- Reporting to customer and high levels in the company.
- Master skill with Creo, Catia or UG.
- Master skill with 2D Drawing review and well know the casting and machining method and requirement.
- Good in English and Chinese communication.
