Hangzhoufeel is inviting foreign nationals to join a vibrant community celebration for the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival at Huanbei Xincun Community of Gongshu's Tianshui subdistrict!

What is Dragon Boat Festival?

The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival, is one of China's most significant traditional holidays, celebrated for over 2,000 years. It commemorates the great poet Qu Yuan and is a time to honor cultural heritage and promote unity. During this festival, people participate in dragon boat races, make and eat Zongzi (glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves), and hang colorful charms to ward off evil spirits.
At this event, you will mingle with Hangzhou locals and have an hand-on experience of how they celebrate this vibrant festival and become a part of the warm community.
