School Introduction

Xingtai No. 1 Middle School, founded in 1943, is a school for Member of the Communist Party of China to train anti Japanese cadres. In 1950, it was renamed Xingtai High School in Hebei Province. In 1953, it was designated as a key high school in Hebei Province. In 1960, it attended the National Youth Conference and was commended by the State Council. In 1978, it was one of the first key high schools equipped in Hebei Province. Xingtai No. 1 Middle School is a national civilized unit, a national traditional sports school, a national exemplary organization in mass work, and a civilized unit in Hebei Province. Xingtai No.1 High School is renowned for its high quality of teachers and students, high teaching quality, and high enrollment rate in the college entrance examination in Xingtai City and both inside and outside the province. It is known as the highest institution of basic education in Xingtai, the hall where excellent students gather, and the cradle of college students.

Xingtai No.1 Middle School was founded in 1943 during the Anti Japanese War. Its predecessor was the Jin Ji Anti Japanese Middle School founded by the Taihang First Bureau, located in Yehuquan, Zanhuang County, Hebei Province. In 1945, Xingtai was liberated, and the Jin Ji Anti Japanese Middle School was relocated to Xingtai and renamed as the "Taihang United Middle School Cadre School". In 1950, it was renamed as Hebei Xingtai High School. In 1953, it was designated as a key high school in Hebei Province, and in 1956, it was renamed as "Provincial Xingtai No.1 Middle School". In 1960, attended the National Heroes Conference and received commendation from the State Council; In 1976, No.1 Middle School was changed from being under the jurisdiction of Xingtai Prefecture to being under the jurisdiction of Xingtai City, and its name was changed to Xingtai No.1 Middle School. In 1978, the school was designated as one of the first key high schools equipped in Hebei Province (at that time, there were only 13 in the province).
