School Introduction

Basic information  Hebei Baoding No.1 High School was founded in 1906. On September 28, 1906, the predecessor of Hebei Baoding No.1 High School, Baoding Prefecture Government Middle School, was established. After the founding of the Republic of China in 1912, the Baoding Prefectural Government Secondary School was renamed as Zhili Sixth Middle School. In 1914 (the third year of the Republic of China), it was renamed as the Sixth Middle School of Zhili Province. In 1928, it was renamed as "Hebei Provincial Sixth Middle School". In 1933, it was renamed as "Hebei Provincial Baoding Middle School". In 1949, it was named "Hebei Hebei Baoding No.1 High School". In 1954, it was designated as a national key high school. In 1978, it was identified as one of the first 24 key high schools to be established in Hebei Province. In 2000, it was awarded the honor of "Window School" by the municipal government.
