International Talent Exchange | 37 International Medical Projects are Concentration and In-depth Released for Matching in the Park

To accelerate the construction of the Offshore Base, promote international exchanges and cooperation within the province, and attract more high-end overseas talents, advanced technologies, and high-quality projects to the base, on January 30, 2024, the International Medical Project Matching Meeting was successfully held. The event was hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts), the Shijiazhuang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and the Science and Technology Bureau of Shijiazhuang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and organized by the Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals, with over 60 representatives from domestic and international medical enterprises attending the meeting.

At the meeting, Dr. Cui introduced a project for a pan-disease group risk non-invasive precision monitoring system from Japan.
Dr. Liu, a graduate of the University of Delaware, released a project for a wearable smart device for limb movement monitoring.
Ms. Song, the project leader of the Canada International Medical Cooperation and Innovation Center, introduced a stem cell therapy project from Sweden, a genetic testing and personalized medicine project from South Korea, and a radiation therapy project guided by spiral CT from Japan.
A new generation of intelligent wearable walking assistance robots from Australia and a medical imaging analysis system based on artificial intelligence from New Zealand were presented in a roadshow format. In addition to these, 30 international medical projects were also released at the event, and representatives from Chinese and foreign enterprises, as well as experts, engaged in interactive exchanges on the practical application of the projects.
At the end of the meeting, two returned doctoral graduates signed a talent introduction cooperation agreement with the Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals. Both parties will jointly promote the flow of scientific and technological innovation talents, technology, and information in Hebei, and boost the high-quality development of the medical field in Hebei.
