The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University

The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University was founded in 1938 and has now developed into a large provincial comprehensive tertiary Grade A hospital that integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, rehabilitation, and healthcare. The hospital covers an area of over 100000 square meters, with a building area of 170000 square meters and 2000 beds. It has 48 clinical departments, 12 medical technology departments, 39 functional departments, 31 teaching and research departments, 3 research institutions, and 14 professional technical committees. The medical service radius covers the border areas of Hebei, Shanxi, and Inner Mongolia provinces and regions. The hospital has an annual outpatient and emergency volume of nearly 1 million people, with nearly 80000 discharged patients and nearly 30000 hospitalized surgeries.

The hospital is a designated medical security hospital for the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
