The Hangzhou Shanghai World Foreign Language International School(HWFL)  Group with the cooperation of  Gongshu Government of Hangzhou, creating the quality brand of HWFL. Following the school's philosophy of "Let the students embrace the world; Let the world be the part of the school life", foreign and local teachers work in tandem to implement lessons in small classes. The PYP Department has been authorized as an international school since 2015. HWFL was authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and became an official IB world school in August, 2017.

The Integrated Curriculum Department of HWFL was launched in 2019.The Integrated Curriculum aims to prepare the new generation of Chinese with a fresh and modern global view. The Integrated Curriculum of HWFL helps the students to possess the attributes of caring, elegance and generosity.
