About Yuhang District 

Yuhang District is located in the western part of Hangzhou and the southern end of The Grand Canal. It is situated in the round center of the Yangtze River Delta, with an area of 942 square kilometers. Yuhang is the holy land of Chinese civilization, the name of Yuhang originates from the landing of Dayu, and the county was set up in Qin Dynasty. The Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins in Yuhang is on the World Heritage List as a sacred site that testifies to the history of China's civilization for more than 5,000 years. It has been intertwined in this ancient land within the venerable Liangzhu culture, the ancient canal culture with 2,000 years, coupled with 1,000 years of Jingshan tea culture.
Yuhang is a district of innovation and vitality, realizing a GDP of 293.6 billion yuan in 2023, of which the added value of the core industries of digital economy is 1998.5 billion yuan, accounting for 68.1% of GDP, and completing an annual total fiscal revenue of 80.16 billion yuan and a local fiscal revenue of 41.668 billion yuan, which are ranked first in the province. Within Yuhang, there are three prominent industrial platforms: Hangzhou Future Sci-tech City, Qianjiang Economic Development Zone, Liangzhu New City. Moreover, it accommodates four laboratories of provincial stature: Zhejiang Lab, Liangzhu Laboratory, Hupan Lab, and Tianmushan Laboratory. An array of leading enterprises have congregated here, such as Alibaba Global Headquarters, Cethik Group Co.,Ltd, and ByteDance. In 2023, it added 22 new state-level "small giants" firms, 637 national high-tech enterprises and 1,734 provincial science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, all of which will rank first in the province. Yuhang adheres to "talent-led innovation-driven", the total number of talents exceeded 400,000, and won the province's "Science and Technology Innovation Cauldron" for three consecutive years. Presently, Yuhang is accelerating to build a global innovation source, a reservoir of innovative talents and a preferred place for transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Talent Policy

1.Graduates' living subsidy

Provide a maximum living subsidy of 180000 yuan to fresh graduates with a bachelor's degree or above.

2.Postdoctoral living subsidy

Provide postdoctoral fellows who work in Yuhang District within one year of leaving the station with a maximum living subsidy of 900000 yuan.
3.Subsidies for purchasing and renting houses
Provide a maximum housing subsidy of 8 million yuan to high-level talents;Provide a maximum rental subsidy of 5000 yuan/month to high-level talents, with a maximum subsidy of 5 years;
4.Talent security services
Provide airport VIP services, domestic academic vacations, education services for talent children, car registration, and housing provident fund loan discounts for high-level talents.
5.Subsidies for skilled talents
Provide senior technicians and other highly skilled talents with a maximum reward of 30000 yuan;Provide comprehensive subsidies to enterprises that introduce, cultivate, and independently evaluate high skilled talents.
6.Entrepreneurship project support
Provide up to 100 million yuan in support for innovation and entrepreneurship projects led by top talents.
7.Subsidy for academician and expert workstations
Provide a maximum of 3.2 million yuan in construction funding to recognized academician and expert workstations at or above the city level.
8.Postdoctoral workstation subsidy
Provide up to 1 million yuan in funding to newly established provincial-level and above postdoctoral workstations; A comprehensive subsidy of 600000 yuan will be provided for each recruited postdoctoral fellow

Industrial Policy

Intelligent IoT industry ecosystem: For enterprises with annual revenue of over 500 million yuan, a maximum reward of 20 million yuan will be given; Establish a 500 million yuan Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Industry Fund to assist in accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements Transforming into reality.

Biopharmaceutical industry ecosystem: Provide up to 70 million yuan in subsidies to biopharmaceutical enterprises that complete the third phase of clinical trials; And the innovative implementation will receive up to 20 million yuan in early funding upon entering clinical practice.
High end equipment industry ecosystem: For technology transformation and new construction investment projects with a total investment of over 2 million yuan, a subsidy of up to 10% of the total investment amount will be given, with a maximum subsidy of 100 million yuan; Enterprises rated as provincial-level "Future Factory" and "Future Factory" cultivation pilot projects will be rewarded with a maximum of 25 million yuan.
New material industry ecosystem: enterprises, universities and scientific research institutions undertaking the construction of national engineering laboratories, State Key Laboratory and national engineering centers will be supported by up to 15 million yuan.
Green energy industry ecosystem: Provide support of up to 10 million yuan to advanced energy storage and virtual power plant demonstration projects based on actual peak shaving results; Continuously strengthening the introduction and training of key enterprises, promoting regional industrial cooperation, and supporting the development of photovoltaic, energy storage, virtual power plants, and hydrogen energy projects.

Major Innovation Platforms and Featured Industrial Parks

Yuhang boasts three key industrial hubs: the Future Sci-Tech City, Qianjiang Economic Development Zone, and Liangzhu New Town. Additionally, it showcases distinctive towns and innovation parks like the Dream Village and the 5G Innovation Park in the Mengqi Village. Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City holds the esteemed distinction of being recognized as one of the nation's four significant future science and technology cities by both the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Furthermore, it serves as the nucleus of the Hangzhou Chengxi Sci-tech Innovation Corridor. Hangzhou Qianjiang Economic Development Zone plays a vital role as a key nexus for intelligent manufacturing within Yuhang. Liangzhu Lab revolves around three pivotal research realms: "major mental disorders", "undisclosed diseases", and "hematological and immune diseases".
Hupan Laboratory centers its focus on three pivotal areas: cloud computing and future networks, intelligent computing and artificial intelligence, as well as big data and information security.
Tianmu Mountain Laboratory is focused on vital areas like intelligent design for environmentally friendly civil aircraft, integrated design for eco-friendly civil aviation engines, advancement in high-performance aviation materials and cutting-edge manufacturing, intelligent flight management, and the integration of onboard energy.
