School Introduction

Affiliated School of Hebei University of Engineering is a nine-year consistent school directly under the Education Department of Hebei Province and affiliated with Hebei Engineering University. The school is located on Kaiyuan Road, Hanshan District, Handan City.

Affiliated School of Hebei University of Engineering consists of the original affiliated kindergarten, affiliated primary school, and affiliated secondary school. Among them, affiliated kindergartens and primary schools were established in 1980, and affiliated middle schools were established in 1989. In July 2011, the original Hebei Engineering University Affiliated Middle School and Affiliated Primary School merged and were renamed as Affiliated School of Hebei University of Engineering. In October 2020, the affiliated kindergarten was merged into the affiliated school of Hebei Engineering University.

The primary and secondary school departments of the school cover an area of approximately 54500 square meters (81.9 acres), with a building area of approximately 30800 square meters. There are various specialized venues such as comprehensive sports fields, roller skating fields, tennis courts, etc; Multimedia classrooms, psychological classrooms, and laboratories are all available. The kindergarten department covers an area of 10190 square meters (15.3 acres), with a building area of 3129 square meters and an activity area of 5776 square meters. Equipped with advanced educational and teaching facilities such as various specialized classrooms and abundant activity equipment. Among them, there are 63 teachers with master's degrees, 2 senior teachers in primary and secondary schools, 37 senior teachers, 98 first level teachers, 2 special level teachers in Hebei Province, 3 backbone teachers in Hebei Province, 2 excellent teachers in Hebei Province, 4 exemplary teachers in Hebei Province, and 8 advanced moral education workers in Hebei Province. Set up 14 functional departments, 7 party branches, 9 grade groups, and more than 5100 students on campus. There are 59 staff members in the kindergarten department (including hired teachers). Among them, there is one senior teacher and five first level teachers. Set up three functional departments, three grade groups, and more than 320 children in the kindergarten.
