Shijiazhuang Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital

Shijiazhuang Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital (Shijiazhuang Fourth Hospital) was founded in 1956. It is the only hospital in Hebei Province that specializes in gynecology, obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, reproductive medicine, neonatology, ophthalmology, traditional Chinese medicine, and other medical specialties. It is a tertiary Grade A obstetrics and gynecology specialty hospital that integrates medical treatment, prevention, health care, teaching, and scientific research. It is also a national specialty construction unit for prenatal and postpartum health care and a national obstetrics and gynecology disease diagnosis and treatment center in Hebei Hebei Maternal and Fetal Medicine Laboratory. At present, there are three operating campuses: Tanggu Campus, Zhongshan Campus, and High tech Campus. The hospital has a total of 1496 beds and 1027 open beds. In 2022, the number of outpatient and emergency 77 visits was 1.164 million, with a delivery volume of 27000 cases. Hospitals have consistently ranked among the top medical institutions in the country in terms of delivery volume for many years.

After 67 years of development, the hospital has distinctive specialties, with 9 medical centers including Hebei Provincial Prenatal Diagnosis Sub center, Shijiazhuang Maternal and Fetal Medical Center, Critical Care Maternal and Maternal Treatment Center, Critical Neonatal Treatment Center, Perinatal Medicine Center, Eye Disease Prevention and Treatment Center, Reproductive Medicine Center, Women's Health Examination Center, and Gynecological Endoscopic Diagnosis and Treatment Center. Among them, the Maternal and Fetal Medical Center is the first and only maternal and fetal medical center in Hebei Province; 12 provincial and municipal medical key (development) disciplines, including prenatal diagnosis, obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive medicine, newborns, prenatal ultrasound diagnosis, obstetrics and gynecology pathology, midwifery, medical testing, nutrition, obstetrics and gynecology anesthesia, and breast surgery. Among them, prenatal diagnosis is the only key discipline in Hebei Province; Obstetrics, Gynecology, Traditional Chinese Medicine Gynecology, Anesthesiology and other four provincial and municipal clinical key (cultivation) specialties. It is the director unit of the Hebei Provincial Obstetrics and Gynecology Quality Control Center, the Shijiazhuang Obstetrics and Gynecology and Neonatology Quality Control Center, and a 78 provincial-level training base for four professional disciplines: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical Genetics, Medical Laboratory and Pathology.

In recent years, the hospital has established international gynecological minimally invasive and endoscopic training bases, national obstetric anesthesia training bases, national gynecological endoscopy and minimally invasive training bases, national maternal and child health traditional Chinese medicine suitable technology training bases, national pelvic floor dysfunction rehabilitation training centers, national registered nutritionist practice teaching bases and other training bases (centers).
