Three Exhibitions at the Palace Museum

As the new year unfolds, the Palace Museum collaborates with institutions such as the National Museum of Iran, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran, and the Royal Commission for AlUla of Saudi Arabia, to launch three exhibitions: "Historic Encounter: Exhibition of Ancient Civilization Exchange Between China and West Asia", "The Glory of the Ancient Persia" and "AlUla, Wonder of Arabia".

Treasures from the ancient civilization shine at the Meridian Gate. In addition, there are numerous other exhibitions taking place in Beijing. Join us to explore these showcases!

Theme Exhibition "Scroll of Landscapes of Beijing Grand Canal"

The exhibition displays the "Scroll of Landscapes of Beijing Grand Canal" created by eight artists from the Beijing Fine Art Academy, as well as the related sketches and figure drawings. Leveraging multimedia technology, the exhibition narrates the artists' creative process, providing an opportunity for the audience to delve into the stories behind the artworks and immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of the Beijing section of the Grand Canal.

A Magic Touch on Paper — Exhibition of Paper-cut Collected by the National Art Museum of China


The National Art Museum of China boasts an extensive collection of over 6,200 sets, totaling more than 16,000 pieces of paper-cut art. For this exhibition, a selection of over 260 pieces/sets are being showcased, organized into three thematic sections.

Tour Exhibition of Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale's Excellent Works (Beijing)



The touring exhibition features a curated selection of 100 exceptional pieces/sets from the "2021 Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale", representing diverse countries and regions. Encompassing a wide range of techniques, forms, and styles, the exhibited ceramics include vessels, sculptures, installations, paintings, and videos.

Echoes of Camel Bells Along the Silk Road


In a vast exhibition space spanning 5,000 square meters, the exhibition presents an impressive collection of over 500 sets/pieces of artifacts. The exhibits encompass a diverse range, featuring works from ancient and contemporary periods, as well as new media art pieces. Among them are more than 400 sets/pieces of cultural relics at various levels, along with the inclusion of five replicated caves.
