Hangzhou Japanese School was approved as a school for children of foreign personnel in Hanghzhou by the Ministry of Education in April, 2008. Certificated as an overseas Japanese school by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (Mext), the school formulates courses and implements teaching plans based on Japanese course of study.We have great teachers sent by Mext and also signed by school itself. They’re all dedicated teachers so that students enjoy learning a lot. Like many schools in Japan, there are a lot of school events. Taking advantage of our small classes, we teach every subject to adopt to each particular child, and also give importance on career guidance for the students who will return home or stay in China. Students enjoy learning Chinese and English from native teachers, so that they’ll be able to participate the global society actively in the future. Our school has educational continuity from primary (1st grade) to early secondary levels (9th grade). We also have a kindergarten for kids at age 4 and 5. It has formal authorization by Department of Education of Zhejiang Province in 2017.
