School Introduction

Handan Experimental Primary School is located on the bank of the Qin River. Established in 1981, it is the only primary school directly under the Municipal Education Bureau, and its counterpart is Handan 25th Middle School. 

The school covers an area of 8100 square meters, has 34 teaching classes, 64 faculty members, and more than 1600 students. The school has a reasonable layout and a beautiful environment, equipped with modern teaching facilities such as a gymnastics room, book reading room, instrument laboratory, multimedia classroom, microcomputer room, electronic lesson preparation room, and a two-way control digital teaching network system.

Educational philosophy
For many years, the school has adhered to the educational philosophy of "people-oriented, harmonious development", followed the laws of education and teaching, focused on routine teaching, and made efforts to run schools that satisfy the people. Actively exploring the reform of new curriculum teaching, focusing on cultivating students' innovative spirit and practical ability, striving to shape their healthy and upward psychological qualities, and comprehensively improving their various qualities. 

School management is democratic, scientific, and standardized, with a team of teachers with high professional ethics and excellent skills. The school vigorously implements the strategy of revitalizing the school through scientific research and has undertaken multiple provincial and municipal level projects. Regular teaching is strict and orderly, and teaching and research activities are rich and colorful. All teachers and students in the school strive for excellence and hard work, forming a fine school atmosphere of "rigor, harmony, hard work, and progress", and continuously improving the quality of education and teaching.

Honors received

The school has multiple disciplines and levels, and has won first prize in provincial and municipal teaching competitions. For many consecutive years, it has been rated as an advanced school in municipal teaching, an advanced collective in municipal moral education, an advanced school in municipal art festival activities, an advanced collective in caring for the next generation in the city, and a red flag unit in municipal health. It has been successively named as a city leading scientific research school, a city civilized unit, a provincial art education demonstration school, a provincial mental health education experimental school, a provincial modern education technology demonstration school, and a national chick brigade.

In March 2020, the leadership team was awarded the title of "Outstanding Performance Leadership Team" in Handan City for 2019.
